Accutac, Inc.
The aircraft industry today is turning more and more to the use of composites in the construction of new planes. One of the keys to composite construction is properly adhering the layers that make up composites. Until now there has not been a reliable means of measuring tack. Accutac has the answer.

Tack is the measure of a material's stickiness or tackiness. Automation of production processes makes it increasingly important to be able to measure tack accurately.

Accutac makes the first machine to reliably, quantitatively, and economically measure tack. Boeing has purchased the first Accutac machine and may soon use it as the basis for setting tack specifications to suppliers.

Software

The Accutac software runs under Windows 98/2000/XP. There are two primary components: the data entry screen where test parameters and material identification data are entered, and the graphical display of the results. Test data are stored to disk and can be reviewed or printed at any time.

New for 2002: Multilingual Software

Now the accutac software is available in a multi-language interface so you can not only change from English and Metric measurement systems on the fly, but also change languages for all text on the fly as well. (Call or email for details.) Click here for press release.
